At first, I thought I didn't need anyone to support me in my return to the world of work, but I am so glad that I changed my mind and signed up for the peer coaching program at Siemens. Together with my awesome coach I was able to work out an ideal “love-work-balance”. I would recommend parents@work to all new working parents, whether you work full-time or part-time, whether you are a man or woman – just take this opportunity!
- NICOLE WOLF, SIEMENS SWITZERLAND
The exchanges with my coach were especially valuable to me because of the trust we've mutually built between us. Our sessions were windows of "open minds and dedicated time" to explore how to best bring work and parenting under one hat. Being colleagues who understood our company culture and processes, and at the same time working in different departments allowed us to exchange very openly on experiences. I took away many new ideas that benefited both my family and my work.

I am a true fan of the parents@work program because it gives participants the opportunity to be mutually helpful. It allows the new parent as well as the coach to grow. Regardless if you soon will become a parent or you already have a couple of children, having someone with whom you can develop and explore ideas is very powerful. My coach and I clicked from the very beginning and discussions about challenging situations as a parent felt natural and easy.

I really appreciate that I was able to bring my own topics into the parents@work coaching and so influence the focus of the sessions myself. The coaching experience has helped me to better understand my own needs and set boundaries in my professional and private life. Also, by mirroring behaviour patterns and situations together with my coach I was able to develop valuable solution strategies for myself

I joined the parents@work program as soon as it was launched in my organization. I started as a coachee and later stepped into the coach role. This program is of great benefit for soon-to-be and new parents, allowing their peer coach to support them when challenges arise. Simultaneously, the coaches are trained and mentored by Sarah, who is an experienced professional, yet an approachable and warm person. Clearly a win-win situation for all!
